Ep.4/The letting go process
When do you know that it’s time to let go of a relationship, job or career?
LISTEN NOW
We humans have a difficult time letting go of anything.
Every ending is a little death we experience, and, every death is a rebirth into a brand new life.
I’ve observed this closely during my job as a hospice nurse, where people will do any and everything to keep a person alive longer, even if the person desires nothing more than to pass and has been ready for years.
Everytime we are asked to let go of a meaningful relationship, job, or career in our lives, we are asked to shed an old version of ourselves and become a brand new person.
If you are going through an ending in your life, my heart goes to you, it’s not easy, grief can occupy your mind constantly and feel heavy.
We must learn to let gracefully and readily, if we are to continue growing.
Ep.4/
Letting go process of relationships
Life welcomes new trees, flowers and animals all the time, we must learn to do the same.
You know when it’s the end, always.
Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does. It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
